About Abu Kenan
About the Author
Abu Kenan is a Muslim author and the creator of Seek Your Creator. Born in 1994 into a Muslim family, he was not always fully practicing Islam. Over time, his interest in Islam and the search for a deeper understanding of faith led him back toward a more committed practice of his religion.
Along that journey, he was influenced by a number of Islamic speakers and scholars, including American converts to Islam whose experiences and approach to explaining Islam left a strong impression on him.
This eventually strengthened his desire to contribute to da'wah and to help others who may be searching for answers about God, existence, purpose, revelation, and Islam.
Beyond Writing
Outside of writing and publishing, Abu Kenan has a background in industry and works professionally as a CAD/CAM specialist. He is also a self-taught programmer.
His professional and personal life has taken him through different environments and experiences. Rather than following a single predetermined path, he describes himself as something of a drifter — someone who has experienced different stages of life, work, learning, and personal development.
These experiences have contributed to his interest in the questions that people often carry with them throughout life: What is the purpose of our existence? Is there a Creator? How can we distinguish truth from falsehood? And how can a person sincerely investigate what they believe?
Why Seek Your Creator?
Seek Your Creator was created as a place for sincere seekers to investigate fundamental questions about existence, the Creator, revelation, Muhammad ﷺ, the Qur'an, and Islam.
The aim is not to ask readers to accept claims simply because they are presented by a Muslim. Instead, the articles seek to encourage readers to think carefully, examine evidence, ask difficult questions, and follow an honest search for truth.
The material published on Seek Your Creator is approached from an Islamic perspective, drawing upon the Qur'an, authentic Sunnah, reason, evidence, and the understanding of Ahl al-Sunnah wa'l-Jama'ah.
A Note to the Reader
Abu Kenan does not present himself as a scholar. He is a Muslim who believes that sincere investigation matters and that people should be encouraged to ask questions rather than be afraid of them.
If you are certain about what you believe, unsure about what you believe, or simply looking for answers to questions you have carried for years, you are welcome to explore the material on Seek Your Creator.
The purpose is simple: seek the truth, examine the evidence, and follow where the evidence leads.
